Tuttle-Click Ford Lincoln in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our high-volume service department, focusing on electrical diagnostics, climate control, and drivability concerns.

You will diagnose and repair A/C and electrical systems, document steps, and collaborate with service advisors to explain repairs; Ford/Lincoln tools training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician with electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to diagnose A/C and HVAC systems.
• Experience with Ford/Lincoln vehicles preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Used Car Technician Compensation and Benefits

The Used Car Technician position is paid on a pay scale that may include the following elements:

• Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, certifications, skill level, and performance
• Production-based incentive compensation, which may be earned based on individual and/or team productivity benchmarks
• Retention-based incentive compensation, which may be earned based on hours produced

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $33.80 to $208.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by job-related factors such as experience, qualifications, performance, and business needs. Incentive and bonus compensation are not guaranteed and may be zero if applicable benchmarks are not met.

Qualifications: Used Car Technician Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience
• Diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Ford and/or Lincoln vehicles preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
