Job summary

Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights is seeking an experienced Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair complex Ford vehicles onsite. You will work under the Service Manager and Shop Supervisor, focusing on engine, drivability, electrical, ADAS, and hybrid systems, while documenting diagnostics and labor operations.

You will participate in Ford factory training, use company-provided tools and uniforms, and thrive in a team environment that supports career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ford dealership service experience.
• Advanced electrical diagnostics experience.
• Experience with hybrid, EV and ADAS systems.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems per Ford and dealer standards.
• Perform repairs and document procedures and labor operations.
• Conduct road tests and quality inspections to ensure proper repairs.
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level technicians as needed.
• Maintain tools and a safe, organized work environment.
