L0419 Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights is seeking experienced Ford technicians who deliver quality work in a fast-paced, on-site service environment. Our Mainline Techs report to the Service Manager and Shop Supervisor and aim to maximize earning potential through flat-rate pay and Ford factory training.

Join a team that diagnoses and repairs complex systems, follows Ford standards, mentors apprentices, maintains a clean, safe workspace, and strives for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ford dealership service experience required.
• Diagnostic and repair expertise.
• Experience with Ford systems, technology, and repair procedures.
• Familiar with flat-rate productivity goals.
• Team-minded and collaborative.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications and 4+ years advanced electrical diagnostics.
• 3+ years advanced hybrid, EV, and ADAS systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, ADAS, and hybrid technologies.
• Perform repairs according to Ford and dealership standards.
• Complete all work in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct road tests and quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Document diagnostics, repair procedures, and labor operations.
• Mentor and support apprentice and entry-level technicians when needed.
• Maintain required tools and a safe, organized work environment.
