Job summary

DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks is seeking an experienced Heavy Line Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and electrical concerns at our high-volume Ford dealership.

You will perform heavy line repairs, including engine replacements and major drivability diagnostics, using Ford diagnostic equipment and repair procedures. Documentation and clear communication with Service Advisors are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive heavy line technician experience in a dealership environment.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, drivability, and electrical system issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Ford experience and Ford certifications are desirable.
• ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and electrical concerns.
• Perform heavy line repairs, including engine replacements and major drivability diagnostics.

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production/Productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
