You will work per repair orders, test drives, and document procedures while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Experience with automotive repairs and diagnostic work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
• Experience: three to five years in automotive service.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
• Complete work per safety requirements and Lithia standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Record time and document procedures accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and assist with stall cleaning.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean to customers.
• Participate in required trainings and communicate with dealership staff.

Now Hiring: Used Car Technician!

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per flat rate hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

• Certification/Training:
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 100% Customer Pay Repairs
• Automotive Technical Knowledge - Three to five years' experience
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
