Job summary

MINI of Ramsey, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring Class B and C Automotive Technicians for full-time, on-site roles in Ramsey, NJ. Pay is $25.00–$40.00 per flat-rate hour, with production-based incentives. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B and/or C level technicians with ASE and manufacturer certifications desired.
• Excellent customer service orientation and valid driver’s license a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy to Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete all work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs.
• Document work performed and time spent per company procedures.
• Maintain inventory of standard mechanic tools and needed equipment.

Who We're Looking For:

• Class B and/or C level technicians
• ASE and manufacturer certifications desired
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

What You'll Do:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools

The flat rate range for this position is $25.00 to $40.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity.
