L0770 MINI of Ramsey is hiring Class B and C automotive technicians for a full-time position in Ramsey, NJ. Pay is $25.00–$40.00 per flat rate hour, depending on experience, with potential incentives based on production.

Requirements include 2–5 years in a dealership or private shop, ASE and manufacturer certifications, and ability to work with scan tools, brakes, suspension, steering, engine maintenance, and basic electrical diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of dealership or private shop experience.
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems.
• Ability to independently perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs.
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence and high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, record procedures, results, and time.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanics' tools.

Dealership: L0770 MINI of Ramsey MINI of Ramsey NOW HIRING Class B and C Automotive Technicians! Pay: $25-40 per flat rate hour, based on experience Schedule: Full time

Who We’re Looking For

• Class B and/or C level technicians with 2-5 years of experience in a dealership or private shop
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems
• Ability to independently perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

What You’ll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools

Total Rewards

The flat rate range for this position is $25.00 to $40.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
