Job summary

Hallmark Hyundai Birmingham is seeking an experienced Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. You will drive sales, manage inventory, and oversee reconditioning to deliver a superior retail experience.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in used-car management, inventory acquisition, pricing, and team leadership, with a hands-on, results-driven approach. This is a full-time, on-site role in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• Some BHPH or subprime finance experience is preferred.
• Automotive sales and management experience preferred.
• Strong customer focus with long-term relationships.
• Well organized; ability to implement and follow processes.
• Positive attitude with commitment to a collaborative workplace.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive used vehicle sales volume by developing strategies to increase sales and market share.
• Lead the used-car department with a retail-first mentality.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, days supply, turn rate, gross profit, pricing, and market position.
• Collaborate with GM, GSM, and sales team to maximize opportunities and hit objectives.
• Set clear goals and accountability for sales performance.
• Source and manage a diverse used-vehicle inventory and ensure timely acquisition/merchandising.
