Planet Honda in New Jersey is looking for a Used Vehicle Buyer to build inventory, appraise vehicles, and manage purchase processes. The role offers an annual earning potential of $80,000 to $120,000 based on performance, with full-time hours including Saturdays and evenings.

You will identify acquisition opportunities through auctions, service drive customers, and online inquiries, while collaborating with service and sales to recondition and sell vehicles promptly.

Formación

• 2 years of automotive industry experience.
• Additional experience in retail, sales, telemarketing, or similar customer-facing roles welcomed.
• Ability to work independently and meet goals with minimal oversight.
• Familiarity with dealership and customer relationship management systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
• Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
• Strong organizational skills and tech-savvy mindset.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Build a used-car inventory through direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers, or the service drive.
• Manage intake and purchase process by appraising vehicles based on condition, negotiating purchase price, and processing all purchase-related documentation.
• Identify acquisition opportunities through Kelley Blue Book ICO, traditional auctions, or Service Drive customers.
• Monitor market and retail trends to plan inventory needs.
• Collaborate with service and sales team to ensure acquired vehicles are being reconditioned as needed and sold in a timely manner.
• Respond to in-store and online vehicle exchange inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner.
