Responsibilities

• Acquire used-car inventory through direct contacts, leads, off-site auctions, dealers, and inquiries.
• Appraise vehicles, assess condition, negotiate price, and ensure timely processing of purchases.
• Monitor retail trends and participate in inventory planning.
• Provide premium customer experience by promptly and professionally responding to inquiries.
• Work in a fast-paced team or as a self-starter as needed.
• Generate leads and set appointments by researching the used-car market.
• Meet car buying quotas.
• Understand market trends across geographic areas.
• Develop relationships with purchasing venues to move inventory cost-effectively.
• Utilize lead management tools effectively.
• Compile reports and documents in a timely manner.
• Be the expert in purchasing, shipping, selling, and stocking vehicles.
