Job summary

Latitude 36 Foods, LLC is seeking a USDA Sanitarian Lead to direct sanitation in the USDA room, equipment and facility areas. You will ensure compliance with USDA regulations, assist the supervisor, and coordinate daily sanitation team activities.

The role supports audit readiness, training, documentation accuracy, and cross-functional communication to maintain production and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must follow verbal and written instructions.
• English reading/writing and basic math skills.
• Understand work processes, methods and equipment use.
• Knowledge of chemical mixing processes.
• Ability to lead others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support sanitation team to complete work safely and on time.
• Enforce GMPs and safety rules; ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Oversee cleaning of the USDA room, equipment and areas.
• Perform sanitation tasks per SSOPs and USDA/FDA guidelines.
• Record sanitizer strength and maintain logs; monitor safety precautions.
• Support training of new hires and ongoing team development.
