Job summary

GoodHeart Brand Specialty Foods in the United States is seeking a Sanitation Shift Lead to support the Sanitation Manager in planning, organizing and monitoring plant sanitation operations. You will train staff, oversee cleaning processes and ensure GMPs, safety and policies are enforced.

Responsibilities include executing cleaning schedules, assisting audits, reporting food safety issues, and coordinating with management for process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, and FDA/USDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily sanitation activities for plant and crew.
• Assist Sanitation Manager with master cleaning schedule and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with management for continuous sanitation improvements.
• Report food safety issues to supervision and participate in audits.
• Work around allergens and maintain attendance and reliability.

Education
