Qualifikationen

• Must have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have: 2–3 years of experience in a food warehouse or fresh food manufacturing environment, including HACCP and GMP enforcement.
• Must have: Working knowledge of food safety, USDA, GMP, OSHA, and sanitation requirements.
• Must have: Strong leadership, verbal communication, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Must have: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise, schedule, and direct the sanitation team in cleaning and sanitizing production areas, warehouse, offices, and equipment.
• Verify areas meet USDA standards before releasing to operations; participate in USDA inspections and corrective actions.
• Enforce GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and SSOPs; review protocols for effectiveness.
• Train team on safe chemical handling, PPE, and proper use of tools and machinery.
• Coach and develop team members; maintain a strong safety culture and timely reporting of injuries.
• Collaborate with Operations, QA, and management to set goals and plan projects.
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory and complete records accurately.
