Job description

Position Summary...

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and guides Associates on customer service techniques to ensure customer satisfaction. Oversees community outreach programs and ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing performance. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds company policies on confidentiality and documentation. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, supports strategic initiatives, and promotes a culture of belonging and integrity. Delivers results with a focus on customer service, continuous improvement, and embracing change. The hourly wage range is $27.00-$37.00, with additional compensation for performance and location-based pay zones.

Minimum Qualifications...

Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
