A leading company seeks a Vision Center Manager responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves supervising team members, providing optical services, and upholding company policies. Ideal candidates will have retail management skills and optical experience.
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality reviews. Develops and implements performance improvement plans, provides strategic direction, and ensures confidentiality of information. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, fostering a workplace of belonging. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds company policies and supports a culture of integrity, respect, and continuous learning. Builds high-performing teams, attracts and retains talent, and acts with integrity. Focuses on customer service, making decisions based on data insights, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and embracing change. The hourly wage range for this position is $27.00-$37.00, with additional compensation for performance and location-based pay zones.
Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
