Job description

Position Summary...

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs.

Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as community members.

Ensures compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and developing performance improvement plans. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions.

Ensures the provision of quality eyewear through consultation, education, and product selection based on customer needs. Maintains confidentiality and performs minor frame repairs and equipment maintenance.

Supports company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and high performance. Builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and attracts and retains talent.

Acts with integrity, demonstrating honesty, fairness, and transparency. Focuses on serving customers and members, making data-driven decisions, and continuously seeking improvement through technology and innovation.

Offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and extensive benefits, including health, financial, paid time off, and educational programs. The hourly wage range is $23.50-$33.50, with additional bonuses and location-based pay zones.

Minimum Qualifications...

Completion of 2+ years of college or equivalent experience, including retail, supervisory, or optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be eligible to work as an optician or apprentice optician under state laws.

Preferred Qualifications...

Supervising associates is preferred.
