Job description

Position Summary

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs.

Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good community members.

Ensures compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection, safety controls, and conducting quality assurance reviews. Develops and implements action plans to improve performance and guides the execution of company programs and initiatives.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by addressing concerns, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions. Develops relationships with stakeholders, supports business plans, and promotes continuous learning and improvement.

Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a workplace of belonging. Communicates effectively, motivates, and influences teams. Attracts, retains, and develops talent, and acts with integrity and transparency.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.50-$33.50, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional bonuses and zone pay may apply.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work including 1 year optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician per state laws.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervising Associates.
