Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do... Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, and inventory levels. Manages budgeting and forecasting, assesses economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and guides Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer satisfaction. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as community members. Ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Develops and implements performance improvement plans, and directs associates to maintain confidentiality and proper record-keeping. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensures provision of quality eyewear, consulting with members/customers, educating them, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds Walmart's Open Door Policy by addressing associates' concerns and reviewing company policies. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates a culture of belonging. Acts with integrity, promotes ethics and compliance, and supports Walmart's sustainability and community initiatives. Delivers results focused on customer needs, makes data-driven decisions, and encourages continuous learning and technological adoption.

The hourly wage range is $27.00-$37.00, with actual pay based on location and experience. Additional compensation may include regional pay zones and performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail and supervisory experience OR 2 years general work including optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician as per state laws.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising associates.
