Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, by collaborating with team members to meet member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and product specifications. Use POS systems and sales techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan, drive sales, and improve service. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions and adapt to new tools.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment and supplies, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies and standards.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, and support team development. Build trusting relationships and motivate others.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to complete required training and assessments
