Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do...

• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the company's products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in the Tire and Battery Center according to company policies by handling claims and returns properly, zoning the area, and organizing merchandise.
• Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing documentation.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures, conduct safety sweeps, handle hazardous materials properly, and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, repair, rotation, balancing, and battery testing and installation, following company guidelines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time frame if hired.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in auto service industry or retail experience is preferred.
