Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, and seasonal considerations; utilize POS systems, phones, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and boost engagement; operate hand-held technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchases and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service; inspire and develop team members; understand and help overcome roadblocks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; use the Open Door Policy; implement related action plans.
• Complete assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvements; adapt to change and feedback.
