Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, by working collaboratively with other associates to meet the club's and members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and sales techniques using Point of Sale systems and in-person interactions.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory accuracy; ensure safety and compliance; report issues; and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, inspiring others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and promote a culture of belonging.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums depending on circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable in the location.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must complete all required training and assessments if hired
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
