Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, enhance service experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies needs, track returns, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance. Address member needs, resolve issues, and ensure proper packaging and storage of merchandise.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented work environment. Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must complete all required training and assessments successfully.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
