Your Tasks

As an Installation Technician I, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of Belimed products while providing excellent service to customers.

This role may suit you if you possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills. Relevant experience may include roles such as Automotive Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Electronics Technician, Machinist’s Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Maintenance Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, Aviation Structural Mechanic, etc.

This is a remote, home-based position with travel within the Central US.

Compensation: $25 - $32, depending on location, skills, and experience.

This position requires approximately 75%-95% travel away from home for up to 4 weeks at a time, with flexibility to travel nationwide during training.

How you will impact Belimed and our clients

• Perform installation of all Belimed projects (e.g., un-crating, leveling, setting product in place, testing units, etc.)
• Verify that delivered equipment matches the order
• Ensure the installation site is clean and tidy at the end of each day
• Follow customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities
• Complete service documentation related to installation activities

What you need to succeed

• Ability to quickly learn and apply relevant skills and knowledge
• Willingness to travel overnight approximately 75-95% of the time for up to 4 weeks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Effective collaboration skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, as well as bend, squat, sit, stand, and twist
• Flexible scheduling to meet customer needs
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues
• Basic knowledge of steam, water, and pneumatic process controls
• Experience with tools, power tools, and diagnostic/configuration equipment in a technical role
• Experience in repairing or installing major appliances is preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
