Position Summary

Your role will involve executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, or fixtures, under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Vocational/Technical certification + 1 year experience or 2 years total work experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or related

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities and equipment using multiple craft skills
• Use work order management system for repairs and documentation
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for operating equipment

Compensation Details

Walmart offers a wage range of $19.00-$35.00 per hour, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. Total compensation depends on experience, skills, and other factors.

Minimum Qualifications

Vocational/Technical certification and 3+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience in relevant trades. Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a 2-year trade program, trade license, and proficiency with office software.
