Job Opening: Part-Time Janitor

We have an opening for part-time Janitor positions at ESFM.

Location: Medtronic - 60 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties:

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move and replace equipment and furniture for cleaning.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning process, and sanitize all surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
