As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 10 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I / Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties :

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety and environmental policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed

Compensation :

• Compensation packages are based on experience, skill set, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives and other perks such as 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, PTO, health plans, and more
• Work vehicle and tools are provided

• The hourly wage range is $31.00-$61.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances

Minimum Qualifications :

• Option 1: 10 years' experience in HVAC / grocery rack refrigeration
• Option 2: 8 years' experience plus AAS in HVAC / Refrigeration
• Universal EPA Certification

Preferred Qualifications :

• Completion of a 2-year HVAC / Refrigeration technical/vocational program or AAS degree
• Excellent driving record
• Experience with Glycol and CO2 systems
