Job description

Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, and be flexible to business needs. Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
  4. Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, value the member experience, model high-quality service, interact with associates to address roadblocks, and assist in training.
  6. Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in business processes.
  7. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners. Prioritize tasks, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
