Position Summary...

Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community. Establishes and maintains relationships with key individuals or groups in the community, representing the company to various external organizations, and championing company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts to associates, customers, and the local community.

What you'll do...

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies, and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and actively listening to associates, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting clear expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Demonstrates and models exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and resolving customer issues effectively.

Assists store manager in driving financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are met, reviewing PL statements, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.

Coordinates and oversees activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.

Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values and ethics, fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and belonging. Builds high-performing teams, attracts and retains talent, and promotes an inclusive workplace where all associates can thrive.

Acts with integrity, maintains high standards of ethics, and models Walmart values to support a positive culture. Makes data-driven decisions, balances priorities, and encourages innovation and resilience.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
