Position Summary
Members of this role provide front‑line service to Sam’s Club members, oversee checkout and entrance/exit areas, resolve member concerns, maintain merchandise and safety standards, train colleagues, and ensure compliance with all company policies and security procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver member service, maintain checkout area, and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Promote Sam’s Club products and services and provide guidance on self‑service technology.
- Process member purchases, assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies for various membership and payment types.
- Execute safety sweeps and follow company safety and security standards, including reporting unsafe situations.
- Handle merchandise properly, correct unsafe situations, and report to facility management.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, acknowledge members, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, organizing items, and transporting items while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Review member receipts, safeguard company assets, observe and communicate potential criminal activity, and maintain required documentation.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Train new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollout.
- Provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Handle returns according to policy, zone the area, and identify shrink and damages.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change.
Qualifications
- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register, and working with mobile retail applications.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. Additional premiums up to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, location, season, or specific work performed.
