What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting Walmart's mission and values. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates a workplace of belonging. Acts with integrity, maintains high ethical standards, and supports Walmart's sustainability and community initiatives.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, paid time off, and education programs like Live Better U. The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional performance bonuses and possible regional pay adjustments.
2 years of college; or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; or 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience. For firearms-related roles, successful completion of background checks and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor’s in Business Management and Leadership or related certifications. Experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
