What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tour stores and provide feedback, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to ensure they are aligned with sales. Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Set clear expectations, provide recognition, communicate consistently, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace. Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and measuring progress. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting Walmart’s mission and values. Build high-performing teams, embrace diversity, create a supportive workplace, and foster a culture of belonging. Act with integrity, maintain high standards of ethics, and support Walmart’s sustainability and community initiatives. Deliver results with a customer-first approach, use data insights for decision-making, and encourage continuous improvement and learning. At Walmart, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, and other benefits. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zones. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college or equivalent experience, with supervisory experience preferred. For facilities selling firearms, successful background checks and training are required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or experience supervising multiple direct reports.
