Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do:

  1. Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; leading change efforts; providing clear expectations; and communicating business objectives effectively.
  2. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage customer service initiatives; resolve customer issues; develop action plans for deficiencies; and lead process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
  3. Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets, forecasts, and expenses; monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; and developing action plans to meet sales and profit goals.
  4. Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, setting expectations, recognizing achievements, promoting diversity and inclusion, and recruiting qualified staff.
  5. Coordinate activities with stakeholders, support plans to meet customer and business needs, set goals, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvements, and promote continuous learning.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and support company values and ethics through action plans, open door policy, and guidance on business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable legislative differentials. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and regional pay zones based on location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-related roles, successful completion of background checks and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related certifications; experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
