Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do...

  1. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  2. Communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  3. Introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.
  4. Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  5. Managing and supporting customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved effectively.
  6. Developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  7. Driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  8. Monitoring and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  9. Developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  10. Providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates.
  11. Ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness, recruiting, and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
  12. Building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
  13. Ensuring compliance with company policies, supporting the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  14. Creating a workplace of belonging, embracing differences, and fostering a culture where associates feel supported and connected.
  15. Acting with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics, and supporting Walmart's goals of positive community impact and sustainability.
  16. Delivering results by prioritizing customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short and long-term objectives.
  17. Encouraging curiosity, resilience, and continuous improvement through learning and embracing new technologies.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable legislative differential. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zones.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of relevant trainings and assessments, and for certain facilities, background checks or certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, Certificates in People and Business Leadership, experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
