Job summary

PLS is seeking a Regional Manager of Human Resources in Chicago to provide consultative HR guidance across multiple units. You will partner with field leaders to foster a positive work environment, mitigate employment risks, and coach leadership to achieve company goals.

This role requires in-person collaboration at our Chicago Support Center, travel up to 25%, and strong knowledge of employment laws. You will analyze HR metrics, develop action plans, and champion PLS culture and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving, judgment and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work with leaders across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with field leadership to resolve complex HR matters.
• Investigate employee complaints promptly and document findings.
• Provide coaching to leadership and support change initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across assigned regions.
• Support teams to drive high performance and engagement.
• Prepare reports for leadership use.
