Job summary

Dow is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join the Feedstocks and Commodities organization in Houston, TX. The role focuses on managing a mid-nine-figure commodities portfolio, executing trading and hedging strategies, and delivering consistent performance in dynamic global markets.

Required: bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 7 years of experience, willingness to travel, and ability to work during off-hours, with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent military experience (U.S. E5 or Canadian ranking).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Willing to travel and support sites during off hours and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit and derivative results within risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, brokers, and banks.
• Support the research team with market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations.
