Job summary

Dow seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join its Feedstocks and Commodities team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on managing a multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolio, developing trading and hedging strategies, and delivering value through physical and financial markets.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, a quantitative degree, and the ability to travel and operate under dynamic market conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent military experience.
7+ years of relevant working experience.
Willing to travel as required.
Ability to work legally in the United States (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
Generate consistent trading profit and derivative results within risk parameters.
Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions, products, and time structures.
Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, brokers, and banks.
Support market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations for senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
