Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join our Feedstocks and Commodities organization in Houston, TX. You will manage a large commodities portfolio, identify market opportunities, and execute trading and hedging strategies with a focus on US natural gas.

This role requires a track record of value creation in physical and/or financial trading, strong knowledge of gas markets, and the ability to navigate a dynamic global commodities environment while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or military equivalent at or above US E5 or Canadian rank.
Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
Willing to travel; able to support sites during off hours especially during weather events.
Legal work authorization for the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
Generate consistent trading profit within approved risk parameters.
Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions, products, and time structures.
Build relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, brokers and banks.
Support research on market views, pricing forecasts, and management recommendations.
