Job summary

Dow, a leading materials science company, seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader in Houston, TX to manage a substantial commodity portfolio. The role focuses on identifying market opportunities, executing trading and hedging strategies, and delivering consistent performance in dynamic markets.

You will navigate physical and financial markets, leveraging expertise in natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, and related derivatives to generate value and manage risk for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent.
• Experience in physical and/or financial commodity trading.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for pricing, risk and market views.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas markets.
• Generate trading profits within approved risk parameters.
• Execute futures, swaps, options and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions and time structures.
• Build relationships with market participants and stakeholders.
• Support market research and trading recommendations for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
