Job summary

Dow is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to manage a multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolio in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes developing and executing trading and hedging strategies across gas markets, while generating profits within risk parameters.

You will execute derivatives, identify opportunities, and collaborate with researchers and other traders to deliver consistent results in a dynamic global market. Domestic travel and on-site work at Houston facilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant military experience at or above specified rank.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Willing to travel as required for this role.
• Ability to work legally in the United States (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit and derivative results within approved risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with market participants and counterparties.
• Support market research on views, pricing forecasts and trading recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
