US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

This role offers a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency/incident response best practices based on firm risk tolerance and budget considerations.
- Manage risk management frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders such as Legal, Talent & Culture, Real Estate, and Business Leaders; develop training and awareness programs.
- Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, and maintain program compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- At least eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response, including managing global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA and experience deploying safety management systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization and work cross-functionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating.
- This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel expected. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
