US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

Join us to apply for the US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming role at KPMG US.

This role offers a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency/incident response best practices based on firm risk tolerance and budget considerations.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders such as Legal, Talent & Culture, Real Estate, and Business Leaders; develop training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Perform subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, and maintain program compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  • At least eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response, including managing global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA and experience deploying safety management systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating.
  • This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel expected. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
