KPMG is currently seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This role is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure workplace safety and emergency/incident response best practices and standards are followed, based on firm risk tolerance and resources.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders (such as General Counsel, HR, Real Estate, Business Leaders), and develop training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching for relevant stakeholders.
  5. Perform reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support incident response planning, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response; experience leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, active threats preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and safety management systems.
  4. Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate in a matrix organization and work cross-functionally.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
  6. This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
