KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This role is a remote work opportunity within the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency response best practices based on firm risk tolerance and resources.
  • Manage risk management frameworks, develop processes with stakeholders (such as General Counsel, Talent and Culture, Real Estate, Business Leaders), and maintain learning and awareness programs.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching for relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response, including leading global safety programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and safety management systems.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate in a matrixed organization and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • This position is fully remote within the U.S., with 5-10% travel based on requirements. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
