US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

This role is a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide guidance and consultancy in managing comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency response best practices based on firm risk tolerance and budget considerations.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders such as legal, HR, real estate, and business leaders; develop training and awareness programs for diverse audiences.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Conduct subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, and maintain program compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of eight years' recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response, including leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders.
  5. This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
