US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote work opportunity within the United States.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and incident response best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and financial considerations.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, coordinate with stakeholders such as Legal, HR, Real Estate, and Business Leaders; develop and maintain training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching for relevant stakeholders.
  5. Review subject matter expertise, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning, incident response, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and incident response, including leading global safety programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA and experience with safety management systems.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt priorities quickly; comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • This role is fully remote within the U.S. with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
