US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This remote role involves:

  • Providing consultancy and guidance on workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs for KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and budget.
  • Managing risk frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders such as legal, HR, real estate, and business leaders, and developing training and awareness programs.
  • Offering subject matter expertise, facilitating tabletop exercises, supporting incident planning, and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response, including managing global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders.
  • This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
