KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming within our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and incident response best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and resources.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, coordinate with stakeholders such as Legal, HR, Real Estate, and Business Leaders, and develop training programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Conduct reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning, and maintain program offerings to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  1. At least eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response; experience in managing global programs addressing various hazards is preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments like OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a matrixed organization and cross-functionally.
  5. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating.
  6. This position is fully remote within the U.S., with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
