US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote work opportunity within the United States.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency/incident response best practices and standards aligned with the firm’s risk tolerance and budget.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders such as the Office of General Counsel, Talent and Culture, administration, real estate, and business leaders; develop and maintain training and awareness programs for diverse audiences.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching for relevant stakeholders.
  5. Perform subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, and maintain program offerings to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of eight years recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response; experience leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, active threats, etc., is preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and experience deploying safety management systems.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and influence capabilities.
  6. This is a fully remote position within the U.S., with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and well-being programs. Salary ranges vary by location, with specifics available at this link. The California salary range is $101,200 - $215,100.
