Gravity Global, a leading global marketing consultancy, seeks an HR Generalist on a contract basis in Houston to support the US People function and align local delivery with the Global People team. The role covers day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, and lifecycle activities with a strong focus on compliance.

You will advise managers and employees, handle onboarding, promotions, offboarding, and employee relations, and ensure policies translate into practical local guidance.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in HR Generalist or Senior HR Advisor role.
• Strong knowledge of US federal employment law and related state/local laws.
• Experience managing end-to-end employee lifecycle and employee relations cases.
• Experience with global stakeholders or matrix organizations is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on onboarding, performance, wellbeing, and ways of working.
• Support employee relations processes, ensuring issues are handled consistently, fairly, and in line with policy and local law.
• Build trusted relationships with local leaders, managers, and employees in the United States.
• Manage end-to-end HR operations in the US, including onboarding, lifecycle changes, promotions, and offboarding.
• Deliver responsive, friendly, and solutions-focused support to queries, helping teams navigate policies with confidence.
• Apply federal and local employment law to people matters, translating requirements into practical guidance.
• Maintain accurate, complete employee records across HR systems and support reporting.
• Contribute to global People initiatives and adapt them locally as needed.
