Job summary

Sentec is seeking a US HR Director to partner with business leaders, aligning people practices with company goals and delivering a consistent employee experience across the US organization.

You will lead the US HR team, manage employee relations, compensate reviews, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws including Rhode Island and other states. This on-site role requires four days per week in Lincoln, RI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partner experience, including at least 3 years leading HR for a multi-site organization.
• Experience working within an international or matrixed company environment.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law, including multi-state HR experience.
• Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters in partnership with managers and site leaders.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 4 days per week on-site (Lincoln, RI).

Responsibilities

• Partner with US leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people decisions.
• Lead and develop the US HR team.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation in alignment with global standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Rhode Island, Idaho, and other applicable states.
• Oversee benefits administration and the PEO relationship with Justworks, including annual renewals.
• Provide accurate HR input to payroll.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding through Workable.
• Responsible for HR processes in the US, including performance management, compensation reviews, and policies.
